Something Watched Me In The Woods
People say a creature lives in the forests of North America. Its name is Bigfoot. It is big, tall, and hairy. It walks like a man but is much larger than any human.
Some say they see Bigfoot in the woods, but the photos and videos are never clear. Scientists don't believe the stories. Is Bigfoot real?
🕯️🕯️
Well, my name is James. This is my story.
Last summer, I camped in the deep forest of Oregon. I wanted to challenge myself and camp alone. My tent was small and blue. I placed it near a quiet stream, far from any roads or people.
The first day was peaceful. I hiked, took photos, and cooked beans over my small fire. But then night came, and everything changed.
🕯️🕯️
That night was dark and strangely quiet. Silent, actually. But then I heard big branches breaking. And every few minutes, the sound of something hitting a tree, hard. Thud! Thud!
I ignored it, and tried to sleep.
Around midnight, I heard a noise outside my tent—crack! Something heavy walked outside. The footsteps were slow and careful. Step... step... step. My heart beat fast like a drum. I held my breath and listened.
Was it a person? A bear? Something else?
The footsteps stopped right next to my tent. I could hear heavy breathing—deep and slow.
The smell was terrible, like old garbage and wet animals. My hands shook. I wanted to run, but I was too scared to move.
🕯️🕯️
After ten long minutes, the footsteps moved away. I waited another hour, then slowly opened the tent.
Huge footprints were in the mud around my camp—too big for a man, too wide for a bear. Each print was almost two feet long.
I looked towards the dark trees. And then I saw them..
Two red eyes glowed in the shadows, watching me. They were eight feet high, maybe more. We stared at each other for several seconds. Then the eyes closed.
I crawled back inside my tent. I sat there until morning. I didn't sleep at all. Every small sound made me jump.
When the sun came up, I packed quickly and left the forest. I'll never forget that night.
When I tell people my story, they think I'm crazy. But I know something was out there in the darkness... and it watched me.
The End.
