Uncontacted Tribes
Deep in the Amazon Rainforest, there are many tribes. About a hundred of them have no contact with the outside world.
They hunt animals, fish, and grow food. They build homes from wood and leaves.
They have never seen cars, computers, nor cities. They live as their families did thousands of years ago.
Now their homes are in danger. Each day, people cut down more trees. The rainforest is getting smaller.

New roads and farms are moving closer to them. If strangers come too near, the tribes get sick from germs.
Today, many people try to help them. They guard their land so the tribes can live in peace.
These people live simply and close to nature. They show us something beautiful. That’s why we must protect them.
