The Three Little Pigs

Three pigs leave their mother's home. They each build a house.

The first pig builds a house of straw. It's quick and easy.

The second pig builds a house of sticks. It takes longer.

The third pig builds a house of bricks. It takes all day.

One day, a hungry wolf comes. His fur is black. His eyes are red. He goes to the straw house first. He knocks on the door.

“Little pig, let me in!”

“No!” says the pig.

“Then I’ll blow your house down!”

The wolf breathes in and blows. WHOOSH! The straw house falls down! The pig runs to his brother’s stick house.

The wolf follows him and blows again. WHOOSH! The stick house falls too. The two pigs run to the brick house.

The three pigs hide inside.

The wolf takes a deep breath. He blows hard, but the house stays strong. He kicks and scratches the house, but it doesn't break.

Then, the pigs hear footsteps on the roof. The wolf climbs into the chimney.

The pigs light a fire and burn the wolf. He runs away and never returns.

Moral: Strong work gives strong results.
