The North Wind & The Sun

One day, the North Wind and the Sun saw a man on the road. He wore a thick coat.

“I am stronger than you,” said the North Wind.

“No, you're not,” said the Sun.

“Let’s have a contest,” said the Wind. “Who can make the man take off his coat?”

The Wind blew hard, with all his power. The man pulled his coat tight.

The Wind blew again, colder and faster. But the man held his coat tighter. He didn't take it off.

“My turn,” said the Sun with a smile. The Sun shone warm and bright.

The man was hot. Sweat ran down his face. Soon, he took off his coat.

The North Wind left, cold and angry.

The man walked on. He felt lighter than before. And the sun smiled warmly.
