The Panda

In the cool forests of China, a quiet hero lives — the panda.

Pandas are not like lions or tigers. They do not fight, and do not run fast. Their strength is different. Pandas live in peace with nature.

Pandas do not hurt other animals. They eat only plants. Their favorite food is bamboo. A single panda can eat hundreds of bamboo stalks in one day!

These big bears have soft black and white fur. They move slowly through the forest, stopping to rest, eat, and sleep. Pandas are shy. Loud sounds make them hide in the trees or climb up to safety.

🌿🌿

Today, many of their forests are gone. Roads, farms, and cities have taken their homes.

If the forest disappears, the panda disappears too.

When we save the panda, we also save the trees, the rivers, and the air we breathe. Protecting the panda means protecting ourselves.

The panda’s quiet life teaches us: walk softly, eat simply, and live peacefully. In this way, we can also live beautifully.
